This highly popular game involves an illustrated treasure map picture, with place name starters, such as Forest of F..., Castle of C..., Mountain of M... but the chosen word for each has to start with the same letter, e.g. Forest of Fidgets, Castle of Cackles, Mountain of Miracles. Able writers may like to add describing words, also alliterated, e.g. Forest of Frightful Fidgets, Castle of Creepy Cackles, Mountain of Marvellous Miracles. But beware the Tree of Terrible Teachers! Someone's bound to think of that. There are gaps for more, too. Perhaps prompt for School of S, Museum of M, River of R or Lake of L.

The completed maps can be coloured in, or made to look old with the help of squeezed teabags or splashes of coffee, rubbed in, and snips and tears around the edges. The ancient-looking maps can then be rolled up like scrolls and shown to an 'amazed' parent or other adult, perhaps.
