This is just one of the many posters that I used to promote positivity over the last year.
I find that focusing on and rewarding positive behaviour really encourages the children to recognize and understand that positive behaviour, in turn being more likely to repeat it.
Don’t get me wrong, this is NOT a behaviour chart! This is simply a way for the teacher to recognize and celebrate positive behaviour!
This resource comes with many other words your class can work towards such as “Friendship” and “Kindness” to name a couple.
I’ve used some of the words with classes that I felt needed to work on those particular attributes.
I also like to set out and discuss with the class the clear objectives for how they can receive a letter, as well as setting out a clear reward for when they finish the word.
Some of the rewards I’ve used this past year have been a movie, golden time, and a teddy bear picnic
