Pay Day Schedule 2023-2024
Back by popular demand, the pay day schedule document for 2023-2024 is now available!
The table of pay days in this document includes each pay day date for the school year 2023-2024, the days that will be paid for on the particular pay day, and any notes (if necessary).
The dates in the document encompass the school year and don’t factor in other incomes, Summer Provision etc. Some of your subbing days may not be paid on time if they are not put in on time (i.e. before 12 midday on the last Friday of the relevant fortnight, or not put in at all by accident).
Holiday pay should come for sub teachers at the end of each term (but this can vary). Holiday pay is 11% of your gross income for the term in question. The format goes as follows – work two weeks, gap week, pay week. E.g. work week of 24/8 & 31/8, gap week 7/9, pay week 14/9.
Disclaimer: The information in this document is as a result of my own research and may be subject to change or may be written in error. Variables like holiday pay can be paid at any stage at the discretion of the DES Payroll, and the dates I have given are a ballpark estimate, subject to confirmation. Be sure to consult your school with regards to pay as well as the DES Payroll for official information and clarification.
