Set of cut-up number sentences to encourage children to use problem-solving skills to make the original number sentence.
This resource includes a variety of challenge cards for different levels and operations (second class to sixth). They can be printed and cut-up along the dotted lines or if you have no printer, no problem; you can copy the sentences on strips of paper and cut them up yourself.
The tasks can be made easier by cutting the strips with zig-zag or diagonal lines or harder by using straight cut lines.
