1st Class Long Term Planning Bundle (Primary Language Curriculum)(11 subjects)

The long term planning is suitable for DIP planning as it follows guidelines from the NIPT with clear aims, objectives, strands, strand units, content, differentiation, linkage and integration, assessment approaches and methodologies and resources!
Long term planning features:
Bundle of eleven yearly plans including the following subjects: Maths, Art, Drama, English PLC, Geography, History, Science, Music, P.E, SPHE and a Gaeilge PLC template with all strands, elements and learner outcomes. A timetable is also included. The planning has clearly listed aims, strands and strand units linked to the curriculum books listed below as well as cross curricular activities taking into account special occasions throughout the year.
English: (14 pages)
The English long term plan has a detailed yearly scheme and is aligned with the new Primary Language Curriculum. It has all strands, elements and learner outcomes for 1st Class. Curriculum books used are Spellbound, Wonderland readers and PAT 1 phonics programme.
Gaeilge: (13 pages)
The Gaeilge long term planning template is aligned with the new Primary Language Curriculum. It has all strands, elements and learner outcomes for 1st Class. Simply copy and paste your Bua na Cainte yearly scheme into the content. Very easy to copy and paste learner outcomes into your short term planning making it much quicker and easier to engage with the new language curriculum.
Maths: (12 pages)
Highly comprehensive long term plan for 1st Class covering Term 1, Term 2, Term 3. The plan is 12 pages long and has the aims of the Maths currciulum, skills and concepts development, all strands and strands units which are organised by month with clear learning objectives, content and resources. Detailed approaches and methodologies are listed, as well as clear differentiation and linkage and integration. The planning follows NCCE planning and has all the recent aims and objectives.The plan is based on the curriculum book Planet Maths 1st Class.
SESE: Geography, History, Science (Each plan is 7 pages long)
SESE long term planning with detailed yearly schemes, content, aims, objectives, differentiation, linkage, assessment, resources and methodologies.
PE: (10 pages long)
P.E long term planning with detailed yearly schemes, content, aims, objectives, differentiation, linkage, assessment, resources and methodologies.
Arts Education: Art (6 pages), Drama (9 pages), Music (6 pages)
Art, Drama and Music long term planning with detailed yearly schemes, content, aims, objectives, differentiation, linkage, assessment, resources and methodologies. The Right Note 1st/2nd Class is the music scheme used in the planning.
SPHE (10 pages long)
SPHE long term planning with detailed yearly schemes, content, aims, objectives, differentiation, linkage, assessment, resources and methodologies. Walk Tall 1st Class and Stay Safe 1st/2nd Class are the books used in the planning.
The plans are fully editable Microsoft Word documents and can be easily adapted to follow a particular scheme you are using in class.
Curriculum books used are: Unlocking SESE, Spellbound, Looking for Zara Reader, Just Write 2, Treasury 2, Wordwise 2, Wonderland Reading Series for 1st Class, Planet Maths, Bua na Cainte, Grow in Love, What a Wonderful World, The Right Note 2, Stay Safe and Walk Tall.
The documents are fully editable Microsoft Word documents and can easily be adapted to your planning needs. :)
