Don't Say It! is an English oral language game for students from 1st class - 6th class. Students get the opportunity to practice their oral language skills and develop their use of descriptive language. This edition of the game focuses on vocabulary associated with Halloween. The aim of the game is for a student to describe the word at the top of the card to their peer/s without saying any of the words mentioned on the card.

There are 28 cards in the game, each containing a different word. Also included are three different styles of the game; black and white version can be printed on coloured paper to save on ink, there are 2 different colour versions.

This game is ideal to begin or end an English lesson. It can also be used as early finisher work, or as a handy resource to have in your substitute bag for a filler throughout the day.

As well as cards, there are 20 slides which can be used as a whole class game. This oral language game is a great filler activity or brain break for the classroom.

The slides are whole class version of the Don't Say It! cards that are also available in my store. For the game a student is chosen to stand with their back to the interactive board, when they have done this the teacher can show one of the slides to the rest of the class. The class take it in turns to give the student hints about what is on the board. The students can't say what the picture is and they can't say any of the words related to it mentioned on the board. The student then has to try and guess the picture in as few tries as possible.

This slideshow does not have to be used as a game all in one go, but rather a couple of slides here an there as you feel your students need a brain break or you have a spare few minutes between activities.
