I have designed and created these vocabulary packs to accompany a variety of beautifully written picture books that are rich in tier 2 vocabulary. Each pack contains:
1. General information on how many words to choose at each level, what is on the cards, preparation etc.
2. A master list of all the tier 2 words featured in the text.
3. Word cards for every word on the list.
4. 2 wonderful words data sheets to collect and record data during the week (link to maths).
5. Writing workshop templates to encourage use of the tier 2 words in writing.
6. Guidelines for a week long suggested instructional sequence.
