Here is a complete Dip planning bundle of all 11 curricular Term 1 and Term 2 long term plans and 23 weekly plans (up to and including month of February) for first and second class. These were used during my Dip (I successfully completed my Dip during Term 1 and Term 2 of the 16/17 school year). All plans were meticulously completed and took hours to complete and I am sure will save hours of work. This bundle would be perfect of anyone starting their Dip and particularly if covering a maternity leave from September.

The weekly plans contain all required elements and follow the NIPT template and guidelines. Both the termly and weekly plans are comprehensive and very detailed – sample can be viewed by scrolling left/right of cover picture). It was noted during the Dip by the inspector that the plans were to a very high standard.

The Gaeilge and English weekly plans from November onwards and Term 2 Long term plans contain the Elements and Learning Outcomes for the Oral Language and Teanga ó Bhéal section of the Primary Language Curriculum.

You will also find a document containing a spider diagram for each week of the school year outlining the theme for the week and general activities for each subject to correspond with the weekly plan.

For the completion of my plans I used a range of content both from my own ideas, the ideas of others that I have observed and interacted with and from various educational resources.

Some plans take cognisance of content outlined in the school plans and books used in the school however may not follow the publishers guide/outline as content was chosen to integrate best with theme being studied.
