This is a really simple, effective and fun game used to help children learn their multiplication tables - in the classroom and at home.
This game is so easy to make in school or at home as all you need is:
- 2 Pringles tubs (1 big, 1 small)
- This Printable
- Scissors
- A keyring (optional)
In the small ‘Weekly’ tub practice the multiplication tables of the week. This is great for partner work, small groups/pods. A card is picked out and if answered correctly you keep the card. If you pick a BUMP card you must put all your cards back in! The winner is the person with the most cards. At the end of the week they are added to the bigger ‘Revision’ tub for extra practice - this could even be done as a whole class when all tables have been learned. Use the answer cards to support peer assessment and learning.
Why not use BUMP to revise Weekly Spellings, new Irish vocabulary, sounds, cvc words and much more! Kids of all ages love it - and learn from it! I’ve included a blank template in my PDF if you’d like to make different topic games too.
