Story Map - Senior Classes
This is a simple activity that can be used after a reading lesson to help enhance children’s comprehension of the piece of reading and also to study the story in greater detail.
It can also be used:
1. As a homework activity if the children are taking the books home.
2. On individual readers as it is not personalised to one specific book.
The senior class version has 2 pages to it - the first is about the setting, themes and characters and children would use words/pictures to fill these in. The 2nd page is writing about the plot, conflict/climax and resolution.
