SPHE Safety at Play- A range of photographs - suitable for any class
Children of all ages will thoroughly enjoy examining these photographs to spot dangers during play. There are over 30 safety issues for children to find! Some photographs contain numerous dangers.
In the past I have used this set of photographs in the following way:
Option 1: Print the pictures of 'Safety at Play' and give each group/pair some pictures to discuss and present.
OR: If you do not have access to a colour printer, you can:
show the photos on the whiteboard and encourage a whole class discussion on Safety at Play. This is a simple lesson to implement and children really enjoyed it.
