LITERACY PLAN - NOVEMBER - Senior Infants
This monthly literacy plan for Senior Infants comes as two fortnightly plans and shows in detail what is to be covered Monday-Thursday (leaving Friday for revision). The plan covers nursery rhymes, rhyming words, phonics, listening and concentration games, beginning letter sounds. Based on workbooks Jolly Phonics Pupil Book 1 and My Spelling Workbook. The plan is revision of sounds covered in Junior Infants, giving the children a better understanding and grasp of phonics to help them with their blending and reading. This plan is also suited to schools who are part of the GAELTACHT SCHOOL RECOGNITION SCHEME and their Senior Infants might only be starting English this year.
