Figure Me Out- Maths Week Activity
Great activity for Maths week or all year round.
Children draw a picture of themselves in the frame. They answer the questions in each box, then they use post its or coloured paper to write a number sentence to represent this answer.
Their classmates/ peers etc. have to solve the number sentence to figure out the answer. This is a great activity that can be used across the school.
The Senior Classes can write more complex number sentences, use fractions, decimals etc. and the lower end can use more simple ones. Also great for differentiation!
This pack also includes a template of the post- it size so you can print on coloured paper and children can use instead of post-its if you wish! Bright coloured paper is most effective!
The kids love this activity, and it is an easy activity for Maths week with minimal resources!
