Chance and Probability- Sorting Activity
This is a great activity for discussing chance, probability and the language of chance. Its also great for expressing, communicating and reasoning etc.
Ideal for TP or a stand alone lesson.
The activity includes 5 language of chance cards- certain, likely, possible, unlikely and impossible.
Children are given 20 scenarios that they have to sort into each category and explain/ justify their answers. My class completed this in pairs.
This is a really simple but effective activity that the children enjoy!
