Romero Britto Inspired Heart Art template... just in time for Valentine's Day on February 14th!
I have included a sample I completed using Paint Sticks. The ones I use are €6.99 from Smyth's. You could use markers, crayons, paint sticks, oil pastels, paint... whatever you have at hand! I used this template with Junior Infants and they turned out so vibrant and was a very mindful activity for all.
It was a great opportunity to introduce and explore the work of Romero Britto and discuss colour, shape, patterns etc. He uses lots of hearts in his work. This could be done with any class group... (I also have a blank template for middle-older classes to draw their own patterns on my Mash store if preferred).
This template was drawn digitally using Procreate on iPad, so is high quality when printed.
