Like many schools, mine have decided to not assign homework for the coming academic year due to health and safety measures.
I have created this Learning Log booklet to use in my classroom to assess children's daily learning.
The children will fill in this sheet every week (could also be used daily for older classes)
They will be using a levelled system to assess their own learning as outlined (Levels 0-4)
Pack also includes a "This week, I wish my teacher knew..." sheet to be filled in. This will allow for private communication between student and teacher which I assume will be very limited this year.
This booklet will help me check in with my students and can also be kept as a means of assessment. You could collect work samples and put with the learning log also.
