This is an assessment tool for the procedure writing genre.
– It can be used by the teacher to correct the child’s writing or can be used by the children to assess their own writing
– It assesses the writing under the following criteria: presentation, structure, capital letters, punctuation, bossy verbs and sequencing words.
– It can be used with third, fourth, fifth and sixth. I would get the children to stick it into their copy so that they could refer to it as they were doing their writing.
