For older students, they can read the word and the teacher can highlight the syllables. There are two slides for each word. The first slide encourages the “I do it, we do it” gradual release method. The following slide encourages students to do the syllable clap by themselves. This is a useful skill for older students when they need to spell polysyllabic words.The rule slides are more appropriate for teachers or older students.
