STEM Challenges at Home

Engineers Week 27th Feb- 5th March 2021

With Engineers Week next week I created 20 #STEMatHome Challenges. I have attached each of the 20 challenges individually to share with each of the class groups as you wish. There are five challenges per class group, one for each day of the week for engineers week or for however you want to share them with your classes. I have also attached the whole school bundle in one PDF if you wish to share this on your school website, school Class Dojo Account or Aladdin Connect.

5 STEM Challenges for

• Junior/Senior Infants
• 1st/2nd Class
• 3rd/4th Class
• 5th/6th Class

Some of the PDF’s contain video links or links to the PFI website for the experiment, not all PDF’s contain links as some are self-explanatory.  I have used these with my class remotely and they have been a big hit, it is a nice change from the book work too.

PDF’s are compatible with Seesaw and Class Dojo.

For Seesaw, upload the PDF file. Instruct the children to open the file and click on ‘view original’ this will allow the children to click on the poster to access the interactive links.

This will go towards our schools Discover Primary Science Award this year too.
