A scoot game that can be played, individually, in pairs or in groups. I’m planning to use this as a seat or word work activity for a group during guided reading as Gaeilge.
There are 24 cards, each with a statement or sentence and a verb root that needs to be turned into the correct tense, or a cloze where you must choose the best fitting adjective . The children must choose the best answer from the multiple choice options and record this on their recording sheet. They can use a dictionary for reference, or my tenses PowerPoints and adjectives glance sheets which are also available on my TPT store!
An answer sheet is enclosed so children can self assess at the end if you want this to be a totally independent task.
This activity is versatile as it can be used a a game, teaching tool, assessment tool and eventually as a revision too
