A lovely rhyming “Go Fish!” game to encourage children to proactise their rhyming skills, knowledge and awareness. This set includes 15 “ponds” with rhyming endings including: -at, -an, -it, -in, -un, -ub, -op, -og, -ot, -et, -en, -ick, -ill, -ock, -ing and 8 Fish words for each sound (120 words in total).
Simply print, laminate, cut out and enjoy. I use this resource in a tuff tray and add paper clips to each rhyming word and children use a fishing rod with a magnet on teh end to pick the words up, sound out and blend the words and match to teh correct rhyming pond.
These words can also be used for sounding out and blending practise for children or as words to use in sentences for early finishers.
They could also be used to help with rhyming activities or as a whyming words bank when creating group poems.
