Print and laminate. and ask children to describe where objects re using positional language. Eg. Where is Santa? Santa is above the pot of gold, under the house, between the Christmas tree and the spider, etc.
Children can work in pairs to ask and answer questions (link to oral language).
Alternatively cut out individual pieces and allow chn to create their own grids (see next page) and answer/ask questions.
Could also be used for S&L for labelling/naming objects.
