PLC Short Term Planning Template

This is an editable template for the short term planning of English and Gaeilge under the new Primary Language Curriculum.

It has six different pages with a table each corresponding to Oral Language, Reading, Writing, Teanga Ó Bhéal, Léitheoireacht, and Scríbhneoireacht.

It dedicates planning space to learning outcomes, learning experiences, resouurces, assesment, differentiation, linkage and integration.

It also includes dedicated planning space for teaching methodologies, comprehension strategies, phonics, spellings and handwriting.

It includes a tick-the-box feature for Cuntais Miosúil, teaching methodologies and reading strategies. This feature may not work on all versions of Microsoft.

*This template is based on the template we currently use in my school. As a staff we have tried and tested many different templates, constantly adapting and reviewing. This style of template is what we have found to be most beneficial for our school, however it is not an official template.
