Each child has their own dictionary which they can use for personal writing. Also contains lists of common words such as months, colours and numbers at the back.
I used this for children in senior infants/1st class. If they wanted a spelling of a word, they had to try and spell it first and then bring it up to me and I would put the correct spelling in the column beside it. It made assessment very easy as you could see which sounds the children are mixing up/finding difficult.
