Numicon is a maths programme that was developed in the UK for students with Down Syndrome. It incorporates the use of shapes 1-10 that are visual representations of the numbers. I have utilised the programme and it’s resources in my everyday teaching of maths to children with all types of SEN and in recent years have used it in early intervention maths programmes with senior infants/first class. I highly recommend this programme. This pack contains 10 whiteboard presentations for number stories 1-10, writing numbers1-10 worksheets, worksheets for addition and doubles (0-10), greater than and less than templates.
