Irish story writing prompt cards.

These cards contain various words and phrases suitable for writing about particular topics.

Very useful for aiding in story writing as they help to give the children structure and support in their writing. They help to prevent the idea of Irish writing being daunting.

I find them particularly useful to copy on coloured paper, laminate and place in a box in the classroom. The children can then go and choose a card and write about that topic-using the vocabulary and phrases on the cards.
