International Provisions for Child Rights and Child
Children, just like adults have needs that should be met if they are live, grow and develop, and become functional members of society. Since as I have just said these needs have an implication to survival and development, people cannot have a choice whether to meet them or not. This means that children have a right to have these needs met. For that reason, various international conferences have culminated in covenants and declarations on the rights and freedoms that should be granted to children.
