New to Infants? Not sure where to start? This SPHE planning document (Detailed-8 pages in length) is broken up into the 10 months of the academic year and each month contains the detailed strand, strand units and objectives covered in each topic as well as some discussion ideas, WALK TALL and RSE reference pages, activity suggestions and other curricular integration links.
My SPHE planning is based on a Year 1 and Year 2 approach which may be suitable for multi-grade classroom settings. This year 1 plan includes: Myself and Others (Relating to Others), Myself and Others (Myself and My Family), Myself and Others (My Friends and Other People), Myself (Stay Safe-Personal Safety, Safety Issues), Myself and the Wider World (Developing Citizenship).
