Gratitude lesson which focuses on the cultivation of positive mind attitudes. Gratitude is a mind state that results in a feeling of relaxation & calm. Included is the learning objective and outcome, preparation, materials, introduction, modelling self-reflection, creative self-reflection, mindfulness visualisation on gratitude, follow up’s & image of completed activity. The guided mindfulness activity is called “goodwill” or “wishing well”. This mindfulness practice focuses on students imagining a light of goodwill which extends from themselves to everyone in the class and beyond. Suitable for children aged 8 to 12.
