First day of school Rhyme

On the first day of school I have Junior Infants colour in a simple border on a page (give them the template) take their picture to stick on one hald of the page and they paint their handprint on the other. I then display this art with poem on board. When sending home art or sticking it in scrapbook I attach small poem to art. Nice and simple for start of year!
