Everyone is Welcome Door Display Activity

Description

This resource is perfect for teachers looking to create a welcoming door display with their students, to show that “everyone is welcome” in the classroom. This would be a fantastic back to school activity, inviting students to celebrate diversity in the classroom and the many languages spoken by their families. By creating this display as a class, you have the opportunity to develop a positive and welcoming classroom environment for your students and their families.

Product includes:

• “Everyone is Welcome!” in black and white (printer friendly, while also giving you the option to have students decorate and colour this part of the door display too)
• “Everyone is Welcome!” in rainbow colours (as a pop of colour and/or opportunity to share your support for LGBT students)
• 9 different speech bubbles (for the students to write ‘welcome’ in their home language or other languages around the world, and decorate with symbols from that country/culture)
