We have used this in our ASD class as a guide when creating a fruit salad (part of our daily living cookery skills) and linked it to our healthy eating and sensory investigation of fruit. Chn can plan their fruit salad, draw the fruits they plan to use and re-evaluate at the end. We tend to taste fruits one week and create fruit salads and then allow chn to change their plans and then repeat in the second week to explore which was best.
A 4 page booklet which we copy back to back and use as a display in class.
