5th and 6th Carry on over the summer activity pack from the teacher
Fully editable word document
These resources were made as a gift for your 5th/6th Class due to the summer feeling very strange this year, 2020, post lockdown.
It might feel strange that you are saying goodbye to your class after “remotely” teaching them for so long. These resources may help your students feel connected and help them with the strange, virtual comedown of the end of school year.
These resources could in fact be used as an End of Year gift any year!
These End of Year activity gift packs for your students contain a “I’ll miss” you editable poem from the teacher, a diverse age-appropriate reading list and film list and ten activities to help your students keep a connection with learning in and around their own county!
It contains a:
- A “I’ll Miss You” poem that you can edit as some of the things that I might miss may not be applicable to your own class!
- A 15 page document(which you might email to parents) with a long list version of diverse, age appropriate books for your class to read with blurb and pictures and a long list version of educationally and age appropriate films for your class to watch with a blurb and pictures. I have also included a note for parents on how to ascertain if films are correct for their family by using a family content searcher website which tells you exactly that!
- A 5-page document that you might post with above books, films and below activities minus the blurb and pictures.
- Ten activities for your class to take part in (no charge activities)over the summer ranging from setting up a blog, podcasting to coding online.
I think this will be a lovely way to say goodbye to your class this year! Getting this in the post would really set them up after the strange time they have had recently.
