SESE : 2 week 2nd Class Lesson Plans on Our School (2x History, 2xGeography,2x Science)
This series of lesson plans integrates the theme of Our School across the SESE subjects. The lessons detail simple lessons that will engage young children in exploring these subjects in an active and enjoyable way.
History: Local School, Grandparents and games from the past
Geography: Mapping journey from home to school, Caring for the grounds of the school and the school environment
Science: Materials in the classroom (including investigation), Plant Life around the school (including activity)
These activities could be adjusted for other class levels from Junior Infants up to 3rd - 4th class.
