Persuasive Writing English (1 week of lesson plans)
This week of lesson plans (6 in total as lessons were quite short) cover showing children how to create a persuasive brochure on a theme, the theme could be adapted to suit the needs of the class. There is a template for the brochure included as well as very extensive PowerPoints that cover a huge amount of content and terminology as well as tips on editing your brochure (peer editing included in one of the lessons) and what should be included in a brochure. This series of lessons was greatly enjoyed by the students and made for a great classroom display which the inspector was very pleased to see. Excellent series of lessons suitable for middle to senior classes - taught at 6th class but easily adaptable for 3rd to 6th class. *These lessons were taught as a direct follow on from my week of debating lesson plans and proved to be very complementary with work done in Media Education (S.P.H.E.)* This week of lesson plans are also available as part of a bundle with the week of debating lesson plans*
