PBL: Money: World Tour
A pack to complete a group challenge based on exchange rates and VAT/ service charges.
Teams have to travel from country to country on a world trip, converting their money as they travel. They have to select a tourist attraction, souvenir and menu item in each country. The activity could also be linked to SESE (popular tourist attractions/ food in different countries).
Could also be used as an individual trip to one of the countries with a particular budget to plan a holiday for a family of .... etc.
The brochures for New York and Toronto are included in 2 variations one where the students have to calculate tax/ service charges and one where they do not.
