P.E. Obstacle Course (Outdoor and Adventure)
This lesson plan and resources are an excellent lesson for subbing as well as part of a larger scheme of work. It features a lesson plan that explains how to run the lessons including objectives, assessment and differentiation. Also included are task cards detailing the activities to be done at each of the four stations. Photographs have been included to explicitly show what the obstacle course could look like when set up. This lesson was taught first to 4th class and also to 6th class, it could easily be adapted and taught from 2nd to 6th class. An occupational therapist sat in on this lesson to assess the needs of a child with Aspergers Syndrome and found it very useful.
