This is a checklist of assessment tasks I use based on the Senior Infants Maths
curriculum. I choose to focus on the strand of number here. I would use this
specifically with children who I have observed to be finding number challenging. It
helps me compile a profile to pass onto to the next Class teacher, SET teachers
and reports/meetings with parents at the end of the year. It also helps me at the
start of every new Senior Infant year to focus myself clearly on where I want the
class to aim towards.
