These plans are fully editable Microsoft word documents so you can tailor them to your own class’ needs.
The Gaeilge and English parts of the plans are based on the 2019 version of the Primary Language Curriculum using templates that I created based on the suggestions from the PDST's planning templates for the new Curriculum.
However, I did not find the PDST templates clear enough or easy to use so I spent a full week working on my own templates for Irish and English. I have these planning templates for the New PLC available for sale separately on Mash.ie here and they have been downloaded hundreds of times and have received multiple 5 star ratings.
The plans align to my First Class long term plans which have been highly rated and are available to purchase here.

What maths programme are your plans based on?
Aug 8, 2023, 14:12Hi Karen,
They are based on the curriculum with suggestions for relevant pages from various publishers programmes as part of the learning activities.
Maths is based on the curriculum, but I have included suggested pages from the Operation Maths scheme that could be done (these could be changed to pages from any scheme that are relevant to the topic that fortnight).
English has my own suggestions for poems, OL topics, picture books and follows the order of grammar and phonics in the Jolly Phonics programme.
Gaeilge is based mainly on Abair Liom, however I also include my own suggestions for poems, songs and phrases to include.
SESE and Arts. Ed are based on my own ideas and don't follow any particular programmes.
For SPHE I do follow the Departments Walk Tall, Stay Safe and RSE programmes.
Kind regards,
Claire
