This activity pack includes three activities to teach telling the time in 5-minute intervals. I created this during my final school placement with 3rd class, though this is suitable for a higher-ability 2nd class.

What's included in this pack?

This pack includes a slideshow that goes through telling the time in 5-minute intervals, past the hour, and to the hour.

The pack also includes a loop game (of 28 cards) that the children can play. They must correctly read the times on the analogue clock and find their corresponding card. Also included are blank versions of the loop game that can be printed and clocks drawn in, or digital clocks added.

The final element of this pack is a worksheet that consolidates the learning. Students must write the correct time in the clocks. At the bottom asks three higher-ability questions that requires a student to convert the digital time to analogue.

This resource pack is a colourful and highly versatile addition to your maths kits! It was made during a school placement block and was well recieved by tutors!
