Famous Landmarks Art Lesson Plan
This engaging lesson plan looks at famous landmarks as a stimulus and invites the children to construct a piece of art through learning about these pieces and also by looking at their shape and structure. A PowerPoint is included as well as a sheet containing interesting facts on each landmark as detailed in the lesson and aTips sheet which offers suggestions of how this lesson could be applied to two other case study examples of Italy and France (offering integration if doing a focused study on one of these countries). Easy to carry out and clean up after also this lesson was very successful in the 4th class that I carried it out with and would be suitable for 2nd - 6th class. Produced colourful and attractive classroom display.
