PERSUASIVE WRITING STATION TEACHING PLAN - suitable for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class
This is a four week plan on Persuasive Writing - based on one day per week and three stations. The plan can be easily amended to suit other co-teaching formats or even a one teach class plan.
The lessons are based on Reasons to Write (6) Persuasive Writing but are suitable for lower classes. The plan includes: internet sites, debates and a film review.
I've have used this plan with a multi class 3rd-6th and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. They have an opportunity to speak, read, answer questions, design an internet site, debate against each other etc....
