1. Introduce the vocabulary at the back of the worksheet.
2. Have pupils practice speaking i mbeirteanna. They can then swap partners and practice using various teams on the worksheet.
(I had my class perform at the top of the class in pairs as a mini drama. The students at the top were not aloud to speak. They pointed to two teams on the IWB where the worksheet was displayed. They minmed the sport, one of the pupils then got injured and the other person mimed scoring either a point or goal)
3. The class then create their own short story using the frasaí at the back of the worksheet. Pupil are encouraged to add speech bubble e.g Tá sé te/grianmhar,
