If you teach Infants then the skills of listening and speaking are high on your priority list! I am always researching new ways to help my learners improve these skills and have developed this pick up and go teaching activities and games document which will aid your planning and teaching when you are trying to work with the new Oral Language Curriculum for Infants.
I have included many practical and simple to use activities for the class that target the engagement, listening and attention milestones of the PLC.
It also includes a colourful set of posters that correspond with the lesson activities. Each poster reinforces one of the Good listener/Speaker activities/games that you will be teaching with this activity pack.
LEARNING OUTCOME Through appropriately playful learning experiences, children should be able to: -Show interest in, demonstrate joint attention and actively listen for enjoyment and for a particular purpose. Engagement, listening and attention(1): c and d
