Number Bonds to 10 Book. Number bonds worksheets.

I love using these worksheets to teach number bonds.
How I do it.
Model number bonds and write the ways to make a number e.g. 8. I will say '1 plus 7 equals 8, 2 plus 6 equals 8' etc.
As I do this I move ladybirds/dots across the boards so the children can see it as well.
I will write all the way to make the target number on the whiteboard.
I then print these worksheets A3 as an example. I will think aloud and say 'How can I make 8?? Oh, 1 plus 7 equals 8.' I will tell the children they only need two colours. They colour one circle one colour and the rest the other colour. (7 blue, 1 pink)
The children can then write the number sentence under or they can carry on in with their number bond workbook.
