Term 3 Long Term Plans Senior Infants

Here is a complete Term 3 planning bundle of all 11 curricular subjects for Senior Infants. Themes covered during Term 3 include The Farm, Animals/The Jungle, Travel and Transport, Water, Pirates and Summer.

These plans are perfect for any teachers including those doing the Dip as the plans contain all required elements and follow the NIPT template and guidelines. All plans were meticulously detailed and took hours to complete and I am sure will save hours of work – sample can be viewed by scrolling left/right of cover picture).

Each plan contains a monthly breakdown of individual weeks and lessons. Each weekly breakdown contains the strand, strand unit, objectives and lesson activities including methodologies used. You can easily copy and past from this long term to your weeklies/fortnightlies without the need to do any more work.

The Gaeilge and English plans are based on the Primary Language Curriculum and contain the Elements and Learning Objectives for Oral Language/Teanga ó Bhéal, Reading/Léitheoireacht and Writing/Scríbhneoireacht.

For the completion of my plans I used a range of content both from my own ideas, the ideas of others that I have observed and interacted with and from various educational resources. Some plans take cognisance of content outlined in the school plans and books used in the school however may not follow the publishers guide/outline as content was chosen to integrate best with theme being studied.
