Drama techniques used include warm-up games, mime, role play, hot seating, teacher in role, still images.
In lesson one, your students use the PowerPoint as a stimulus to discuss the woodland animals of Ireland. They discuss what they know about the animals and hibernation and play a Pelmanism card game. Students use music and mime to explore animal characters.
In lesson two, they re-cap, then develop the story further using hot seating, teacher in role questioning and role play.
