This book is for struggling readers who find it challenging to recognise and blend sounds together.
This book uses the 'an' blend, so it is perfect when the first three sets of sounds in Jolly Phonics are covered.
It also includes counters for blending, pictures and then progressing onto sentences.
The majority of words are CVC with some CVCC words at the end.
I find it helpful to help the children engage with reading and foster a love of reading.
I laminate and put the book together for the children to take home.
