An Aimsir Láithreach Scoot Game and Task Cards
A scoot game that can be played, individually, in pairs or in groups. I’m planning to use this as a seat or word work activity for a group during guided reading as Gaeilge.
There are 24 cards, each with a statement or sentence and a verb root that needs to be turned into the Aimsir Láithreach (na briatha rialta). The children must choose the best answer from the multiple choice options and record this on their recording sheet. They can use a dictionary for reference, or my Aimsir Láithreach powerpoint that is also available on my mash store!
An answer sheet is enclosed so children can self assess at the end if you want this to be a totally independent task.
This activity is versatile as it can be used a a game, teaching tool, assessment tool and eventually as a revision tool.
