Aimsir Scoot Game and Activity

A PDF scoot game that can be played, individually, in pairs or in groups. I’m planning to use this as a seat or word work activity for a group during guided reading as Gaeilge. The children have to select the correct weather word. These are phrased a number of ways to keep the children thinking!
Sometimes I like to stick the scoot cards all around the room and the children have to go find each number and match it to the correct box- great for First Class number and ordering! :)
There are 24 cards, each with a statement or sentence which is missing a word. The children must choose the best answer from the multiple choice options (A-D) and record this on their recording sheet.
A recording sheet and completed answer sheet is enclosed so children can self assess at the end if you want this to be a totally independent task.
This activity is versatile as it can be used a a game, teaching tool, assessment tool and eventually as a revision tool.
